Harry Pettit

Harry Pettit

Queenstown local Harry Pettit has been on the New Zealand ski scene since he was just a wee grommie, and he is certainly here to stay. Harry has been skiing for the last 17 years and has spent the last 5 of those years traveling the world and competing against the worlds best. Some competition highlights include a 16th place at the SFR Tour France, 7th at Andri Ambuhl invitational and a 2nd at German Championships Chill & Destroy. After some time off due to a serious knee injury Harry has come back and is skiiing better than ever.

As a member of the New Zealand Freeski Development Team Harry spends his time training with the countries best skiers and coaches. Last year he was the only kiwi invited to the Red Bull Performance camp held up at Snow Park NZ where he managed to dial in a handful of new tricks and has added some doubles to his bag too. Harry now has his sights set on taking on the world and his goals are to compete in the 2014 Winter olympics and the Winter X Games.
