Manu Barnard represents the new era of young skiers who are not only incredibly talented but also fearless. The 12 year old lives in Wanaka and has been brought up on the snow, his father Hugh Barnard is a local heli ski guide which helps explain why he skis with experience well beyond his years. Manu spends most of his time at Cardrona and Treble Cone where he fine tunes his Big Mountain and Slopestyle skills, and has been turning heads at Whistler Blackcomb too. Manu is progressing at a staggering rate and has already developed his own unique style, expect big things from this kid!
